Short: Fix damaged WAV files Author: Rob Cranley (www.robthenerd.com) Version: 1.0 Architecture: Mac OS X universal binary (PPC / Intel) Requires: OS X 10.4 (Tiger) WAVRepair ~~~~~~~~~ WAVRepair is a simple tool which I wrote to fix some WAV files with damaged headers. My girlfriend is a professional musician and often records in WAV format. Occasionally her recording device did not save the correct header to the file and as a result the file could not be played in most software, even though all the sound data was in the file. WAVRepair solves this issue by showing the problems found with a WAV file, and correcting them or alternatively, copying the data to a new, "clean" file with a new header. Installation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ WAVRepair can be installed like any other OS X app. Mount the downloaded disk image by double clicking on it, open the WAVRepair virtual disk and drag WAVRepair into Applications. Requirements ~~~~~~~~~~~~ WAVRepair requires: - Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or higher - PPC or Intel processor Changes In This Version ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1.0 (14.07.2014) Initial release for Mac.
